This policy explains what information the Fun Ku app (“the app”, “we”, “us”) collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. Fun Ku is published by Triple J Developing (“the developer”).
Fun Ku is a single-player arcade game. Your game progress — scores, tokens, and unlocked items — is stored on your device and, if you use iCloud, in your private iCloud account. We do not run our own servers and do not sell your personal information. The app uses a small number of well-known third-party services (Apple, Google) for analytics, advertising, leaderboards, and purchases, described below.
Information collected
Game data (on your device / your iCloud). Your high scores, token balance, and unlocked characters, outfits and backgrounds are saved locally and mirrored to your private iCloud key-value store so they follow you across your devices. This data is controlled by you through your Apple ID and is not visible to the developer.
Analytics (Google Firebase Analytics). We collect anonymous usage and diagnostic information — such as app opens, game-over events, scores, and in-app purchase events — together with device identifiers and general device information. This helps us understand how the game is played and improve it.
Advertising (Google AdMob). The app shows occasional full-screen ads (unless you buy the ad-free upgrade). Because Fun Ku is treated as a child-directed game, ads are always non-personalised: they are chosen from general context rather than from a profile of the user, and the app does not track users across other apps or websites. Google AdMob may still process limited data (such as a resettable identifier and approximate, non-personal usage signals) to serve and measure these ads.
Game Center (Apple). If you use the Game Center leaderboard, Apple processes your Game Center identity and your submitted scores under Apple’s privacy policy.
Purchases (Apple). In-app purchases (the ad-free upgrade and token packs) are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment details; Apple provides us only with confirmation that a purchase succeeded.
How information is used
- To save and restore your game progress across your devices.
- To measure and improve gameplay, stability, and features.
- To display and measure advertising, and to honour the ad-free purchase.
- To operate the global leaderboard.
- To deliver purchased content (tokens, ad-free) to your account.
We do not sell your personal information.
Third-party services
These providers may process data as described in their own policies:
- Apple (Game Center, App Store, iCloud) — apple.com/legal/privacy
- Google Firebase / Analytics — firebase.google.com/support/privacy
- Google AdMob — policies.google.com/technologies/ads
Your choices
- Remove ads: the one-time ad-free in-app purchase stops all ads.
- No tracking: the app does not track you across other apps or websites and shows only non-personalised ads, so no tracking permission is requested.
- Reset your ad identifier: you can reset or limit your advertising identifier in iOS Settings ▸ Privacy & Security ▸ Apple Advertising.
- Delete data: deleting the app removes local data. iCloud-synced game data can be removed via iOS Settings ▸ your name ▸ iCloud.
Children
Fun Ku is suitable for, and may appeal to, children. We treat the app as child-directed and design our data practices accordingly:
- Ads are configured for child-directed treatment and are always non-personalised; the app does not build advertising profiles of users and does not track users across other apps or websites.
- Ad content is limited to a general (G) audience rating.
- We do not knowingly collect personal information to identify a child, and we do not ask children for personal details.
If you are a parent or guardian and have questions about your child’s use of Fun Ku, contact us using the details below.
Data retention
Local and iCloud game data persists until you delete it. Analytics and advertising data are retained by Google according to their retention policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
